Squirrel

I remember the first time I saw a squirrel really closed to where I stood. It was an awesome experience. I was watching him eating a nut. So cute and so amazing.

Last week, I had another close encounter with some squirrels in Ann Arbor, Michigan and I had my camera!
There were a bunch of squirrels running around campus. Too many of them!
I started snapping pictures of them! Some were very photogenic and even posed for me. Some just shied away and showed me their behind (not a pleasant thing to take a picture of).

The pictures are too big to be uploaded here and I'm too lazy to resize them. Here's one of them.

My version of the zoo

I didn't go with Stella, but I went to the zoo several weeks ago. These are my favorite photos. -Feli

Zoo Day

Cannot waste a nice day in Chicago! It's a rare 80'F, zero humidity day and we wanted to be outside. The winning place was the BROOKFIELD ZOO! -- Stella

The shameless brown bear kept scratching its butt while we were watching.

Okapi...I'd like to think of it as a hybrid of horsey and zebra? The zoo called it the forest giraffe.

Photography class

I took a photo safari class. Basically I learned more about my camera. Now I know which White Balance or Metering I need to use, etc. We also learn about composition (which I tried to practice a lot that day).
That Sunday was so gloomy and rainy that we didn't get a chance to take pictures outdoor.
Inside the building, the instructor didn't allow us to use flash (well, what's the point of taking a class if we're using a helper).
Anyway, 100% of my pictures turned out grainy, since I was using iso 1600.

Here are three of my BEST shots that day.
